I'm Katie Monroe — photographer, educator, and business mentor with over 17 years of experience in the photography industry. Through my three brands — Kreate Photography, Katie Monroe Photography, and The Kreate Collective — I serve both clients and creatives by blending creativity, strategy, and heart.

At Kreate Photography, I lead a boutique team specializing in luxury weddings and lifestyle photography across Sonoma, Napa, and San Francisco. At Katie Monroe Photography, I partner with entrepreneurs and businesses to craft intentional brand imagery that elevates their presence and impact. Through The Kreate Collective, I coach photographers to build profitable, sustainable businesses with clear systems, smart strategy, and authentic leadership—without the burnout.

From late editing nights, handwriting each lead email from scratch to deep burnout mid-career, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to get every, single system in place to create a lucrative and sustainable business model.

I put in the time and energy (step-by-step, literally) to create a functional ecosystem of workflows and systems that have allowed me to scale my business (twice), grow a team, start a family, and get clear on my bigger life vision beyond entrepreneurship.
